Noerr expands operations in Poland (x)

Noerr has today announced the onboarding of a team of 11 DJBW lawyers including three partners and an of counsel in its Warsaw office, effective 1 January 2017.

DJBW is an independent Polish law firm founded by ex-White & Case managing partner Witold Danilowicz and former White & Case partner Witold Jurcewicz , together with Radoslaw Biedecki and Ludomir Biedecki. DJBW is a recognised transactional and corporate brand on the Polish legal market, servicing domestic and international clients from various sectors. Noerr has operated in Poland since the 1990s and has built a strong regional advisory force in Central Eastern Europe, advising on some of the largest investments in CEE and Poland in all key areas of business law. Most recently, clients who regularly rely or have relied on the Noerr’s expertise include Daimler, Deutsche Telekom and Lone Star. Witold Danilowicz , who will be senior office partner at Noerr’s Warsaw office, commented: “We are excited to become part of Noerr, and we are keen to leverage the strategic fit. Radoslaw Biedecki, a corporate M&A lawyer with extensive experience in real estate and financial services sector, will join as a partner and new office head of Noerr’s Warsaw practice. Ludomir Biedecki, a capital markets and M&A lawyer with in-depth experience of advising on both debt and equity transactions, will also join as a partner and co-head of the Corporate M&A and Private Equity Practice in Warsaw. Witold Jurcewicz will join as of counsel and will concentrate on building up the arbitration practice in Warsaw. Noerr advises local and international clients in all key areas of business law in Poland including corporate M&A; banking and finance and capital markets; real estate investment; litigation and arbitration; employment and labour law; and has industry expertise in the automotive, energy, media, telecoms, IP and IT sectors.
