The energy transition is not only an environmental issue, but also a competitiveness issue.
For the third time one of the most important sustainability events in Central Europe, Planet Budapest 2026 Expo and Experience Programmewill take place. As part of Planet Expo 2026, organised by the Blue Planet Climate Foundation, two days of the Planet Conference will focus on the sustainable economy and agriculture, as well as on clean energy and the energy sector, helping the Hungarian economy to make the green transition and achieve climate neutrality goals.
The second day of the conference will focus on clean energy and energy transition opportunities.The morning session will focus on energy storage innovations, the future of energy production in Hungary, and the transition strategy of industries and how to raise finance.
The afternoon programme will focus on the potential of renewable energy sources - solar, wind and geothermal - in Hungary, the role of energy storage in system stabilisation and the currently untapped potential of energy communities. Invited speakers and experts will demonstrate through practical examples how clean energy can become a pillar for economic growth and security of supply.
Sustainability is a complex economic and social system that does not concern a single sector but a wide range of economic actors. In this system, cross-sectoral cooperation, knowledge sharing and joint solution finding are particularly valued - this is the dialogue that the Planet Conference aims to strengthen.

Planet 2026: energiatárolási boom, geotermia-felfutás és az energiaközösségek megjelenése alakíthatja a hazai energiaátmenetet
Az energiatárolási boom már a jelen valósága – hangsúlyozta Csapó Dániel (Planergy Solutions Kft.), hozzátéve: a kiegyenlítő energiapiacból elérhető kiugró bevételek időszaka kifutóban van, ezért a tárolóknál egyre fontosabb lesz az arbitrázs és a többféle bevételi forrás kombinálása. A naperőművek miatt kialakuló kacsagörbe a HUPEX-en napközben akár negatív árakat, este pedig megugró tarifákat hozhat, amit a tárolók „kihasználhatnak” – de a túlépítés kockázata közel van, az RRF-ből 2026 tavaszáig nagy új kapacitások érkezhetnek, és a PICASSO is erősíti a versenyt. A rendezvényen Novák Csaba (Magyar Megújuló Energia Szövetség) a „bankolhatóság” felől közelített: csak az a projekt életképes, amelynek kiszámítható a bevétele és a szabályozási környezete. Ritter Antal a szélenergia hálózati csatlakozási nehézségeire, Molnár Gábor a geotermia hőoldali lehetőségeire, Koós Zoltán Roland pedig az onsite PPA és az okos méretezés szerepére hívta fel a figyelmet, miközben Csernus Dóra az energiaközösségekben rejlő önkormányzati és társadalmi előnyöket emelte ki.
EU-s szabályváltozások, finanszírozási kérdések, dübörgő energiaátállás - folytatódik a Planet Budapest 2026 Expo és Konferencia
A Planet Budapest 2026 konferencia üzenete az, hogy a zöld átállás egyszerre ellátásbiztonsági, klímaalkalmazkodási és versenyképességi kérdés. Raisz Anikó szerint az EU külső nyersanyag-kitettsége kockázat a napelem-, szélerőmű- és akkumulátor-ellátási láncokban, miközben itthon a klímaváltozás már mérhető víz- és csapadékhiányt okoz, ezért szigorúbb kibocsátási határértékek, bírságok és célzott TAO-kedvezmények is megjelentek. A Századvég kutatása közben azt mutatja: a társadalom a fenntarthatóságot fontosnak tartja, de félti Európa gazdasági pozícióit és érzékeny a költségekre, ráadásul 2025-ben EU-s szinten is lazult több ESG- és iparági szabály. A vállalati példák (Alteo, Bonafarm) azt igazolják, hogy a megújulók, tárolás, energiahatékonyság és okosenergia-menedzsment kézzelfogható üzleti eszköz lett. A nap végén a finanszírozók is ezt keresik: bankolható, kockázatkezelt modelleket, ahol a PV-t tároló, szoftveres vezérlés és kereskedelmi/PPA-képesség teszi igazán életképessé a projekteket.
Magyarországon született világszabadalom forradalmasíthatja az akkumulátor-technológiát
A magyar kutatók áttörést értek el az akkumulátortechnológiában, amely mind a hat kulcsfontosságú fejlesztési szempontot egyszerre valósítja meg – jelentette be Áder János volt köztársasági elnök a Planet Budapest 2026 Expo és Konferencián. Az Edortech Kft. ónalapú anódtechnológiája a hagyományos eljárások több energia- és anyagigényes lépését kiváltva gyorsabb és környezetkímélőbb gyártást ígér; a fejlesztés már a technológiai készültség legmagasabb szintjén jár, és a vállalat a következő 2–3 évben egy évi 1000 tonnás kapacitású üzem felépítését is reálisnak tartja.

Between 25th February and 29th March 2026, Planet Budapest, a unique sustainability theme park in the Central European region, will open its doors. Free to visit for 33 days, the event's four separate programmes are built around a single common question: how can we shape our collective future without taking away from the generations to come?
The Planet Experience, organised by the "Kék Bolygó" Foundation, will include Planet Expo, a trade exhibition from 25th February to 1st March, a forum for companies at the forefront of sustainability to meet and showcase their products and services. As part of Planet Expo, a conference entitled Planet Expo and Conference - The Future of Clean Energy will take place.

We warmly welcome all interested individuals over the age of 16 who are interested in the event's professional program, would like to participate, and are open to meeting new partners and high-quality networking opportunities.
You can register for our events on the portfolio.hu/rendezvenyek page on the respective event's subpage by clicking the "registration" button. Due to GDPR compliance, we can only admit participants who have registered online in advance or on-site, and (in case of paid events) have a paid ticket to the event area. Online registration is possible until midnight the day before the event; after that, we welcome interested parties on-site, where our colleagues will gladly assist at the registration desk with ticket purchases or, in the case of free events, ticket collection.
In case of full capacity, registration on the website closes, and you can only join a waiting list. In this case, on-site ticket purchases are also suspended. Our colleagues will notify registered applicants on the list about possible participation opportunities depending on available spots.

How to Participate: offline
The participation fee and other costs (room booking, extras, etc.) can be paid by bank transfer or credit card payment during the registration process. It is important to know that in the two days before the event, only credit card payment is available on our website. In the case of paid events, we cannot guarantee participation without payment of the participation fee.
On the day of the event, bank card payment is also available at the registration desk with the assistance of our colleagues.
Our system automatically sends the QR code after the payment has been received and accounted for. In case of free participation, the QR code for entry is sent immediately after registration. Please check the spam, social, and other subfolders in your email system as well. The email will arrive with the subject "Entry ticket for (event name)..." from the noreply@portfolio.hu email address.
If the QR code still hasn't arrived, please check the payment, as the entry QR code is only sent after the participation fee has been paid. After verifying and confirming the payment, please contact our colleagues at rendezveny@portfolio.hu email address. We cannot provide information by phone; in such cases, we can only help in writing.
For free events, if you still cannot find the QR code after checking all folders, please contact our colleagues by email.
In case of interrupted card payment, please contact our colleagues at the above-mentioned email address. Upon request, they can issue an invoice or help restart the process.

The official language of our events is Hungarian. For foreign language presentations and international guests, we provide live or AI simultaneous interpretation in Hungarian and English. Please check the availability of this on the information tab, and our colleagues are happy to help at rendezveny@portfolio.hu email address if you have questions.
The presentation materials, to which our speakers have given their consent, will be sent in the thank-you letter after the event. Video and audio recordings will not be shared from the event. Articles and analyses about the event from our experts can be read on Portfolio.hu, Agrárszektor.hu, and Pénzcentrum.hu.
Online registration is considered an order. Participation in the event requires prior payment of the participation fee. After finalizing and submitting the registration, we do not accept cancellations, we do not refund the ticket. The participation fee must be paid even in case of absence from the event.
After full payment of the participation fee, however, participation can be transferred. In case of a name change, please write to rendezveny@portfolio.hu email address, our colleagues will send a code with which the incoming participant must also be registered on our site, according to our data management policy. On the day of the event, on-site, colleagues can also help if a name change is necessary due to a sudden event.
