Beatriz Pozo

Beatriz Pozo coordinates the Financial Markets and Institutions Units at the Centre for European Policy Studies (CEPS) and is also involved with the European Credit Institute, the European Capital Markets Institute, and the EU Network of Independent Fiscal Institutions. Since 2023, she has overseen the EU Payment Observatory on behalf of the European Commission, which monitors trends and developments related to late payments across the EU. In addition, she has worked on a wide range of research projects covering EU policy areas such as payments, retail investment, taxation, sustainable finance, and fiscal policy. Beatriz holds a Master’s degree in European Studies from King’s College London and a dual Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Film, Television and Media Studies from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid.
