dr. Werner Brandauer

Dr. Brandauer is an Energy and Power Systems Professional with over 20+ years international experience in power and energy. He holds a PHD in electrical engineering and energy economics from Graz University of Technology. After his post doc research appointments (NY, USA) in the field of microgrids he was active in consulting business as a senior expert for power systems and energy economics at the Austrian Energy Agency. Werner Brandauer joined Siemens Austria in 2018 where he was holding several management positions in the fields of business development and strategy. Since 2020 he is heading the Power Systems Consulting and Grid Simulation Software Business in Southeast Europe. Most recently he additionally took over the responsibility for the latest generation of Siemens Grid Software for active low voltage grid management.
