Virtually every business now is a digital business; the question is whether market players recognise this in time and make good use of innovation, including AI, to increase business competitiveness. We plan the future’s innovative projects today, but the EU regulatory environment for the digital economy is utterly intricate. If you do not pay enough attention to legal and regulatory aspects, the project might fail in legality. And if you do not choose the most effective LegalTech tools, the market may pass you by before you can implement a legally sound but outdated solution.
But how can this be done correctly (and legally)? How can you build regulatory compliance into strategic planning processes from step zero? How is it worth reconsidering the role of regulatory compliance and how to integrate the suitable screening, compliance, and feedback tools and solutions into corporate processes?
This year, Portfolio and Wolters Kluwer are jointly organising a conference on the topic for the first time – we will discuss the impact of LegalTech and DigitalCompliance on competitiveness and the most crucial legal and regulatory areas determining the presence in the digital space. Aki a digitális világban versenyképes vállalatot akar vezetni és felelősen gondolkodik, annak nem lehet kérdés, hogy meg kell teremteni az üzlet, a technológia és a jog közös nyelvét, egyszerűen kötelezővé vált, hogy ezek a területek tudjanak kommunikálni egymással. Mára annyira együtt mozognak és egymásra vannak utalva, hogy külön-külön lassan értelmezni sem lehet őket. A Digital Compliance by Design & Legaltech Konferencián 2024. május 8-án kiderül, hogy a hazai vállalatok mennyire mondhatók naprakésznek, kihasználják-e az innováció és azon belül is az MI lehetőségeit a vállalati versenyképesség növelése érdekében, és mit kell a vállalatvezetőknek a jogból és a technológiából esszenciálisan megérteniük ahhoz, hogy a tevékenységük jogszabálykövető módon történjen.
A vállalatvezetés egyik legnagyobb kihívása, hogy a gyorsan változó gazdasági és jogi környezet miatt a döntéshozók legtöbbször már nem támaszkodhatnak a korábbi döntéseket megalapozó információkra és rutinokra, ugyanakkor a napi forgatagban sokszor nincs idő összefüggéseiben újragondolni ezeket a folyamatokat. Hatalmas időnyomás érzékelhető üzleti oldalról, hiszen ma kell megtervezni a jövő projektjeit és kialakítani a holnap környezetében való hatékony működés kereteit. A vállalati versenyképességet hosszútávon is befolyásoló tényező, hogy a piaci szereplők időben felismerik-e, hogy a fenti dilemma a leghatékonyabban a digitális innováció által biztosított eszközök alkalmazásával oldható fel. De a probléma abban gyökerezik, hogy nem mindent szabad, amit lehet: mit is jelent ez a jogi-szabályozási megfelelés kontextusában a digitális világban? Idén először szervez közös szakmai párbeszédet a Portfolio és a Wolters Kluwer a témában: a Digital Compliance by Design&Legaltech Konferencia aktualitásáról az ötletgazdákkal, Kézdi Katalinnal, a Wolters Kluwer Hungary ügyvezetőjével és Firniksz Judittal, a Pázmány Péter Katolikus Egyetem Versenyjogi Kutatóintézetének kutatójával beszélgettünk.

You can register for our events on the portfolio.hu/rendezvenyek page on the respective event's subpage by clicking the "registration" button. Due to GDPR compliance, we can only admit participants who have registered online in advance or on-site, and (in case of paid events) have a paid ticket to the event area. Online registration is possible until midnight the day before the event; after that, we welcome interested parties on-site, where our colleagues will gladly assist at the registration desk with ticket purchases or, in the case of free events, ticket collection.
In case of full capacity, registration on the website closes, and you can only join a waiting list. In this case, on-site ticket purchases are also suspended. Our colleagues will notify registered applicants on the list about possible participation opportunities depending on available spots.
The participation fee and other costs (room booking, extras, etc.) can be paid by bank transfer or credit card payment during the registration process. It is important to know that in the two days before the event, only credit card payment is available on our website. In the case of paid events, we cannot guarantee participation without payment of the participation fee.
On the day of the event, bank card payment is also available at the registration desk with the assistance of our colleagues.
Our system automatically sends the QR code after the payment has been received and accounted for. In case of free participation, the QR code for entry is sent immediately after registration. Please check the spam, social, and other subfolders in your email system as well. The email will arrive with the subject "Entry ticket for (event name)..." from the noreply@portfolio.hu email address.
If the QR code still hasn't arrived, please check the payment, as the entry QR code is only sent after the participation fee has been paid. After verifying and confirming the payment, please contact our colleagues at rendezveny@portfolio.hu email address. We cannot provide information by phone; in such cases, we can only help in writing.
For free events, if you still cannot find the QR code after checking all folders, please contact our colleagues by email.
In case of interrupted card payment, please contact our colleagues at the above-mentioned email address. Upon request, they can issue an invoice or help restart the process.

Please check the Prices menu for the exact content of the ticket. The ticket price does not include accommodation costs. If the booking option is available at the event, you can select and book accommodation during the registration process.
The official language of our events is Hungarian. For foreign language presentations and international guests, we provide live or AI simultaneous interpretation in Hungarian and English. The presentation materials, to which our speakers have given their consent, will be sent in the thank-you letter after the event. Video and audio recordings will not be shared from the event. Articles and analyses about the event from our experts can be read on Portfolio.hu, Agrárszektor.hu, and Pénzcentrum.hu.
Online registration is considered an order. Participation in the event requires prior payment of the participation fee. After finalizing and submitting the registration, we do not accept cancellations, we do not refund the ticket. The participation fee must be paid even in case of absence from the event.
After full payment of the participation fee, however, participation can be transferred. In case of a name change, please write to rendezveny@portfolio.hu email address, our colleagues will send a code with which the incoming participant must also be registered on our site, according to our data management policy. On the day of the event, on-site, colleagues can also help if a name change is necessary due to a sudden event.
