Real estate event of the year in Hungary. Portfolio Property Investment Forum is organized for the 10th time this year. An all-day professional program; parallel thematic sections in the afternoon; standing reception in the evening with surprises; awards and plenty of networking opportunities. Property Investment Forum is organized in association with RICS.

The event celebrating its anniversary of a round-number, introduces the prominent participants of the sector. During the pre-lunch section of the Property Investment Forum inviting 400 people, in the plenary section, the most important investors, developers, bankers and advisors discuss the current issues of the domestic real estate market and those of the CEE-region. In the afternoon, the experts discuss the issues of the particular market segments in 3 parallel sections.

10th Property Investment Forum Budapest: the leading industry get-together in Hungary since 2005. The annual full-day conference covers the most important issues of the Hungarian and CEE property markets. The event has become the largest real estate conference from Vienna to Moscow in the past four years.

Zoltán Bán started his professional career as a stock analyst and joined Portfolio.hu’s team in 2000 in this position. As the company grew his responsibilities grew with it. As of 1 October 2009 he was appointed Chief Executive Officer of NET Média Zrt. (Portfolio.hu). Mr. Bán obtained his degree in economics at the Budapest University of Economic Sciences and Public Administration, specializing in finance, in 2001 and became a chartered economist at ELTE in 2006. Besides managing the company he keeps an eye on the current issues of his former fields of expertise, i.e. the financial sector and the real estate market.

Csanád Csűrös

Csanád is the Director of Portfolio Conferences and is responsible for the company's entire event business line. Portfolio Conferences organizes over 30 connferences yearly, many of which have been established by Csanád, including CEE Property Forum Vienna and SEE Property Forum. Csanád strongly believes the principles that made Portfolio Conferences successful: the inspired format, the quality of content, the commitment to seek out the most interesting and most inspiring speakers in the industry and let them share their knowledge and passion. He wrote his thesis and spent his months of apprenticeship at Ecorys Hungary, where he spent further three years as a Real Estate market advisor, of which he worked a half a year in the Manchester office of the company. From the beginning of 2010 he was the Real Estate market analyst for Portfolio.hu, and the permanent editor of the REsource Ingatlaninfo of Net Média Zrt.

He is also on the management board of the Budapest office.

Mr. Zsolt Kákosy has been working in the real estate industry since 1997. He graduated at the Budapest University of Economic Sciences (Major: Finance, minor: Business evaluation). He obtained his M.Sc in Real Estate from Nottingham Trent University and Budapest University of Technology and Economics (joint course) in 2001. In 2003, he obtained his MBA degree at the Budapest University of Technology and Economics (course being coordinated by the State University of New York at Buffalo). Currently, he works for SAM-Lak Kft (member of the RPHI group) as co-managing director and CFO. Earlier he has gained experience as a real estate developer being mostly involved in industrial and logistics projects. He is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) since 2002 and is a board member of RICS Hungary since 2006. Kákosy is also known as a founding member of the RICS Property Finance and Investment Professional Group in Hungary.

Kata Mazsaroff became responsible for the office leasing team, specializing in Occupier Services at Colliers International in 2013. She began working for Colliers as a leasing Advisor in 2007 and during these years she had managed over 140,000 m2 office projects with over 130,000,000 € lease value. In 2015 she expanded her team’s service line with workplace solutions. She began her real estate carrier in 2006 in the datacenter field at Digital Realty Trust, REIT, located out of Boston where she was responsible for marketing and asset management activities along the east coast portfolio.

Gábor Soóki-Tóth, MRICS

A graduate of the Tecnical University of Budapest (Diploma in Architecture, 1993.) and Nottingham Trent University (M.Sc. in Real Estate, 1999). Between 1993-96 he was Assistant Professor at the Urban Planning Department at the Tecnincal University of Budapest. From 1996-to 2001 he worked with Kolpron Consultants, between 2001-2006 was managing partner of ECORYS Hungary and between 2006-2014 worked as head of planning at Skoglund Holding and CBS Property. He is real estate development module leader at the Center of Excellence in Planning at the Ion Mincu University of Architecture and Urbanism. As an advisor he worked with property developers, investors and lenders as well as with local governments focusing on residential, retail and industrial properties, urban management and development strategy. He is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).

Gábor Angel graduated from the technical manager faculty of Ybl Miklós Technical College of Szent István University, where he also graduated from architecture. He complemented these basic specialties with a degree of higher education as a cost expert and real estate agent during his studies. He started working at OTP Ingatlan Rt. during his college professional practice, where he stuck for 5 years gaining valuable and practical experience in technical, legal and economical knowledge. After spending a year in the contracting sector, he was the acquisition manager later the director of ORCO, and joined the Budapesti Ingatlan Nyrt. team as a director of development. He has been the CEO of the company since 2010.

Michael Atwell arrived in the team of CBRE with a 22 year real estate market experience. Gábor Borbély MRICS

Gábor Borbély has been working for CBRE, the world leading real estate advisor, since 2006. The senior analyst became an eastern European analyst, where he coordinated the work of the regional market research team for a year. In 2011 he got promoted to become the analysis and advice leader of the Budapest office. His duty was to lead the market research department, as well as the cooperation with the valuer and investor team regarding different advisory tasks. Besides the regular reports, he also takes personalized market research jobs as well. He became a deputy director in 2012. He is a member of RICS Hungary since June 2012.

Del Chandler is Managing Director Capital Markets for Central and Eastern Europe. Del Chandler has over 25 years of professional experience in the real estate market in international financial institutions as well as in consulting firms. He held senior management positions with both real estate and finance companies/banking institutions and serviced on supervisory board on one of Poland's leading public company in energy development. Prior to being appointed Managing Director Capital Markets CEE at BNPP RE he has been for 16 yrs. working for ING Group where he headed the division responsible for structured real estate financing services in CEE region.

Tamás Csillag

He is the student of the Budapest University of Technology and Economics. He obtained a degree of economics at Marx Károly University of Economics in 1987. He qualified to be a fully authorized and licensed registered stock market broker in 1991. He performed tutorial and research - organizer tasks in the University of Economics since 1987, between 1989 - 2001 he held several leading positions in the investment departments of many different credit institutions and financial enterprises.

Ákos Csobádi

Ákos Csobádi is the leader of the Project financing and syndication department Raiffeisen Bank Zrt.: responsible for real estate, LBO, energy related investments and other structured businesses, as well as syndicated credits. He joined the Raiffeisen Bank Zrt. in 2002 and became the department leader in 2012. Graduated from the Budapest University of Economic Sciences Public Affairs in the finance department, and later he obtained a certified legal economist degree in ELTE.

She got her degree in economics (BA) in New Jerseyben at Rutgers College, and had her MBA on International Marketing department of the Glendale, Arizona: American School of International Management. Before moving to Hungary, she worked on the rapid real estate market of Manhattan. First she worked as a project manager at a residential property developer company, which reconstructed industrial buildings into fashionable residential buildings, after this she dealt with project marketing at one of the leading New York real estate agency, the Corcoran Group.

Balázs Czifra MRICS

Balázs Czifra has over fourteen years of experience in international real estate market in not only advisory but also in developers' environment. He became familiar with the fields of sales, valuation and property management in Hungary and in the CEU countries. Balázs joined to DTZ again in 2011, after being the managing director of SEGRO (flexible business space developer company) in Hungary and the EU Trade director at the same time. Before this he worked 9 years for DTZ, where he dealt with the Industrial real estate advisory department of Hungary, and then helped establishing the CEU advisory department. Balázs currently leads the Hungarian expert group of DTZ, covering 8 fields of business from agency to property operations. Balázs is responsible for the DTZ's high level of services, the strategic leading of the company, and the appropriate services of the international clients. Balázs has been a member of the RICS since 2001, and regular lecturer of conferences and university lectures.

Johnny Dunford obtained his MA degree in 1996, then in post gradual education graduated in business investment in 2006. The same year, he got his MRICS degree. Between 2005 and 2009 he worked as the director of DTZ, an international real estate consulting company with a nearly 350 million pound revenue, in 43 countries. He had several leading position at DTZ during the years, led the Czech and Slovakian department of the international investment group, and dealt with business developments in CEE. He led the DouglasBay Capital between 2009 and 2011, which is a logistics company with mostly UK and EU branches. Member of RICS since 2012, where he is the global director of the trade business.

We will send a confirmation in email in the case of an on online registration. (The data and the "Conditions of Registration, Payment and Cancellation" have to be accepted during registration.) We will send a Fee Requesting Notice in email based on the data that are approved in the course of registration after the acceptance the "Conditions of Registration, Payment and Cancellation". The fee has to be paid within 8 workdays after the confirmation of the registration. The invoice will be issued after payment. We will post to the invoice to you to the address that is given on the occasion of registration. An online application is classified an order. Paying the participation fee in advance is a prerequisite of participating at the event.
We accept cancellations with refunding the complete participation fee - EXCLUSIVELY IN WRITING at the address of conference@portfolio.hu - till 12 hours on workday 5 before the event. In the case of cancellations made after this time the participation may be assigned, but the complete fee has to be paid. We are not in a position to accept cancellations made through phone or in any other verbal form. It is not possible to cancel participation in the case of registrations that are made after the cancellation deadline. In the case of registrations made 1-2 workdays before the event it may happen that the transfer of the participation fee will not be credited to our bank account, therefore in this case it is possible to transfer the fee on workday 1 after the event.
Since online applications are classified as orders, we are not in a position to accept ex post complaints - including absence from the event, because of the lack of transferring the fee - after the cancellation deadline. The complete fee has to be paid in this case as well - provided no written cancellation was received by us till the cancellation deadline.
