Chief Financial Officer of the year

Credit Management Group created an award named “CFO OF THE YEAR” to honour financial leaders doing an exceptional job. The internationally acknowledged award will be handed out at the Future of Finance 2023 event organised in collaboration with Portfolio on the 20th of September 2023, in Budapest. Again this year, at the event, we will award the most prepared and successful economic and financial director chosen by the jury from domestic companies with good financial performance. The award is offered jointly by Credit Management Group and Portfolio Group. Alongside the award which is a prestigious professional acknowledgement, we will present the winner on the Portfolio.hu website after the ceremony, outlining the financial situation, successes, and challenges of the company they represent. Portfolio will provide shortlisted candidates with VIP tickets to the Future of Finance 2023 conference to be held on the 20th of September 2023, the professional programme of which will be followed by the award ceremony and a standing reception.

Judging and Award Ceremony

Based on the nominations received, the Jury will decide who will be the CFO of the Year in 2023. In the decision-making process, the Jury will pay special attention to the work of the economic and financial leaders of large companies and SMEs with a strong track record in investment, financing, R&D and M&A and a balanced financial performance.

Conditions for Award Application

The award is open to the financial and economic managers of companies and institutions (large companies, SMEs, or public institutions) that are involved in production or service activities but do not operate in the financial or consulting sector.

Financial and economic leaders of any domestic company (except for those operating in the financial sector and consultancy) can apply for the CFO of the Year 2023 award.

The award is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash. The organisers reserve the right to declare the application unsuccessful. Applicants warrant that the intellectual work submitted in their application is their sole and exclusive work and that they will not submit any product that is wholly or partly the intellectual work of another person.
