We are organising the Banking Technology conference for the seventh time now, one of the most important intellectual workshops for the banking sector, the IT sector, and fintech companies, where we will talk about banks’ digital transformation and the sector’s most important IT business and technological development directions.
According to the Hungarian National Bank, domestic banks’ digital capacities have developed significantly in the last year. The banks lagging behind have caught up with the midfield, but there is still a lot to do in the sector regarding internal operation.
The big question is, however, which IT investments will be able to improve internal efficiency under the burden of the special taxes, and whether there will be money for innovation, R&D, and experimentation with new technologies under challenging times. The stakes are high, as the sector is now facing increasingly fierce international competition not only from each other but also from neo-banks and fintech opponents.
The banking industry’s top executives, fintech gurus, consultants, regulators and experts from IT companies gather at our conference for the sixth time now to share their thoughts on the most critical business and IT issues affecting the banking sector.
