Bálint has over 15 years’ experience in property development and investment. He holds a master’s degree in economics from the Budapest University of Technology and Economics with a major in urban development. He earned the CFA Charter in 2012 and since 2018 he has been a member of the RICS society. In 2013 Bálint co-founded Forestay Group. Consisting of 10+ companies, the group is active in property development and investment in Central Europe. Forestay has successfully delivered more than 150 general construction and property development projects; of which the group’s largest development is the Dean’s College Hotel in Budapest, with its 418 rooms in hybrid operation. Via Forestay Fund Management, the group is offering equity and bond investment opportunities to institutional and private investors with CEE hospitality and residential exposure. Bálint, as managing partner of the Forestay Group, is responsible for the strategy of the group and for its development projects.
