Dr. András Csapó is a lawyer by training with more than twenty years of experience in the financial and energy sectors. Over the course of his career, he has held senior positions in banking and the oil and gas industry and gained substantial experience with international corporations and professional associations. He currently serves as Managing Director of O&GD and, since 2024, has headed Danube Carbon Storage, whose mission is to implement practical carbon capture and storage (CCS) solutions in Central Europe. DCS provides a full value-chain, cost-efficient CCS solution that offers real opportunities for Central and Eastern European emitters to achieve climate neutrality. The company’s first project is being launched in Dunaföldvár, creating underground storage for 500,000 tons of biogenic CO₂ emissions annually from Pannonia Bio.
