Dr. Borbála Dömötörfy obtained her law degree in 2011 from Pázmány Péter Catholic University, where she also earned her PhD in law in 2020. She pursued legal studies in Paris and Belgium, and also obtained a British diploma in UX design and a BSc in Economics and management. As a lawyer, she primarily worked in the fields of competition law, regulatory compliance and data protection at the Hungarian Competition Authority (GVH), the European Commission, and international law firms, while continuously educating herself in the field of technology. In 2020, she decided to fully shift her focus to technology. She crowned her self-education with a data analytics bootcamp and has supported several tech startups as a freelancer in recent years. She is currently part of the data governance team at a major tech company, where she is responsible for data compliance and also works with modern data analysis methods—including scripting and programming languages.
