dr. Tímea Csikós LL.M

Tímea Csikós is a compliance lawyer, data privacy, and equal opportunity expert. After obtaining her degree, she dedicated nearly 10 years to committed human rights advocacy at the then Ombudsman Office (now the Office of the Commissioner for Fundamental Rights), working in the Children's Rights and Equal Opportunities Department. She was also the driving force behind the Office's international projects and the coordinator of its civil relations. The advent of the GDPR steered her professional curiosity towards the world of data protection, leading her to become a data protection officer at the ORFK Police Education and Training Center, followed by a role as a senior privacy expert at the Central European University (CEU). Her interest in the compliance field was further sparked while serving as a legal counsel and data protection officer at METRO Commercial Ltd., where she became acquainted with the world of multinational corporations. She completed the English language program at Pázmány Péter Catholic University, earning a compliance lawyer qualification, which she initially applied as a member responsible for ethics and equal opportunities at the BKK Compliance Department. Currently, she serves as the Data Privacy Officer and Compliance Officer at the Allianz Technology Hungarian Branch, supporting the compliance of IT service delivery.
