Dr. Csaba Gondola

He was born in Debrecen in 1990. He obtained his law degree at the University of Debrecen Faculty of Law and Political Sciences in 2016. Meanwhile, he studied law at the University of Vienna between 2012 and 2013 and at the Catholic University of Leuven in 2014. In 2014, he was a legal intern at the Nagy&Trócsányi law firm, and in 2015 at the American law firm Robison, Curphey & O'Connell LLC. From 2015 to 2017, he was a junior corporate lawyer in the European Legal Department of National Instruments Hungary Ltd. From 2018, he worked as a bilateral advisor for North America at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, then became head of the secretariat of the Parliamentary and Strategic State Secretariat of the Prime Minister's Office. From 2019 to 2022, he was the Deputy Chief of Cabinet to the Minister of Justice, and from 2022, he served as Chief Policy Advisor to the Ministry of Technology and Industry. Then he served as Chief Advisor to the Minister at the Ministry of Energy. From 2023, he was the managing director of Energy Strategy Institute Nonprofit Ltd, and from March 1 2025, he became State Secretary for Circular Economy and Climate Policy at the Ministry of Energy. He is married and he has one child.
