Earned his Master’s Degree in architecture at the University of Pécs, Pollack Mihály Faculty of Engineering. His very first professional experiences regarding BIM were gained at the local back office of Vico Software Inc. – an international BIM-specific software developer and service provider company which is part of Trimble by now. Later he returned to the university to expand his knowledge in BIM as a PhD researcher. Started to teach BIM methodology for students of architecture then created a research group with the most enthusiastic ones. With their help the BIM education was extended to more disciplines. Since 2012 they have also gained a lot of experience about the BIM implementation methods in various commercial projects. He is a co-founder and board member of the Hungarian BIM Association and an active participant of domestic and European BIM standardization since 2014. Joined to the team of Lechner Knowledge Center in 2016 as the head of department of 3D building and methodology. He is responsible for professional support of the governmental BIM-based software developments and for the coordination of the BIM technical directive preparations.
