As an ecological consultant at Clarkson & Woods, Hannah has worked on solar farm developments for over 10 years, being involved in both pre-construction ecological impact assessments as well as post development management plans and monitoring. The sites have varied greatly ranging from small scale community owned solar farms to large nationally significant projects.
More recently, Hannah has been collaborating with Solar Energy UK on producing a natural capital best practice guidance for solar farms and a standardised methodology for monitoring ecology on operational sites. She has also been working with Lancaster University on a knowledge transfer partnership looking at soil and vegetation on solar farms.
