Jaromír Ranek is the Business Development Director of Alza.cz a.s – the biggest internet retailer and innovator in e-commerce in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. The company ranks among the largest businesses of its kind in all of Central Europe and since 2014, it´s business activities have expanded to other EU countries including Hungary. Jaromír joined Alza in 2011 after 10 years in O2 company and went through several positions (incl. Marketing Director and Sales Director). In his current position he is in charge of Vendor partnership management – his team of marketing professionals prepares and negotiate all marketing activities with vendors and Alza´s partners (marketing campaigns, launches of new products and education activities of latest technologies). He is also responsible for e-shops development in Hungary (Alza.hu) and Austria (Alza.at); his main target is to set the optimal strategy for each market. Jaromír is keen on putting smart people, great ideas and the latest technologies together.
