Tamás Kovács

Tamás Kovács has close to 20 years of experience in the renewable energy sector. He began his career in 2006 at one of the first biogas plant execution in Hungary. Since 2008 he worked for 10 years as project manager at Stallprofi Kft, the Hungarian partner of UTS / Anaergia, the biogas technology supplier of more Hungarian biogas plants. He was responsible for execution of the biogas plant at Szarvas, Nagykőrös, Kapuvár, Nagyszentjános, Onga and Balatonszabadi. He also worked on international biogas projects like Limassol, Cyprus or Cape Town, South Africa. He worked at E.On Hungária on development of several B2B industrial energetical service solution projects. As project manager at ALTEO he was the responsible for execution of the 5 MW battery energy storage at Kazincbarcika, and the 5 MW electric heated steam boiler at Sopron. Tamás leads now the Renewable Gas business unit at the Hungarian office of the Spanish ID Energy company, one of the most active project developer company biogas/biomethane, solar, wind and storage sector. He is the Chairman of the Renewable Gas Working Committee of Hungarian Renewable Energy Association.
