Richárd Szabados

Economist, certified tax consultant and chartered accountant. He started his career at the accounting firm Arthur Andersen, then held managerial positions in the corporate and leasing areas at Budapest Bank, K&H Bank, and CIB Bank. He led Erste Bank's Corporate business for seven years, was a board member of Garantiqa Hitelgarancia Zrt., and a member of the board of trustees of the Agricultural Enterprise Credit Guarantee Foundation. Volunteering and charity are part of his everyday life, he was member of the board of the Hungarian Ice Hockey Association, and he also founded the Szabados Boys Foundation, which supports disadvantaged children. In June 2023 he became the Managing Director of the Hungarian Economic Development Agency. As of September 2024, he is the State Secretary for SME Development and Technology at the Ministry for National Economy.
