Gábor Szarvas has been director of Budapest Airport since 2008. He has been responsible for environmental management since he joined the company, gradually taking over other responsibilities such as health and safety, certification, community and governmental affairs over the past years. He initiated the first corporate social development programme of Budapest Airport and coordinated various sustainability projects at the company. He was also instrumental in initiating the Budapest Airport Cluster launched in 2015. Prior to his current position, he worked at a leading global environmental consultancy for over ten years and has extensive professional experience. He pursued his MA studies at Eötvös Loránd University and the University of Amsterdam.
