Zoltán Pécskay

Zoltán Pécskay graduated at University of Debrecen Faculty of Economics. He started his carrier as an auditor for more than 10 years, and after that he worked on European Union tenders and dealt with project management. He has been working at EDC Debrecen Nonprofit Ltd. since 2017, as financial and operational manager from 2019, and as head of economic development team from June 2020 in the framework of which he primarily dealt with investment promotion tasks. From September 2022 he is the managing director of the company. Thanks to the work of EDC Debrecen led by him, in the past year large-scale investments arrived to the city such as EVE Power, ZF, Skyways Technics, Aldi International IT Services or delaware. EDC's tasks also include the management of urban development projects realized from support programs, participation in the development of strategies related to urban development, and through its business development activities, the support of the local SME sector with various trainings, cooperation and supplier programs.
