Kovács Ágnes 2017 szeptembere óta a SIÓ-Eckes Kft., Magyarország vezető gyümölcslégyártójának ügyvezető igazgatójaként a hosszú távú, fenntartható fejlődés elősegítése érdekében reformálta meg a vállalatot. 2020 októberében elnyerte a “Változásvezető díjat” a Magyarországi Üzleti Tanács a Fenntartható Fejlődésért (BCSDH) szervezet Fenntartható jövőért pályázatán. A díj indoklása szerint “emberileg és szakmailag egyaránt példaértékű egyéniség, aki innovatív, előremutató megoldásokkal erősíti a vállalatát. Az üzleti eredmények és az emberek menedzsmentje terén egyaránt kimagasló a tevékenysége. Számára a hangsúly a fenntarthatóságra való komplex törekvéseken van, amely még a járvány alatt sem lassulhat le.” Kovács Ágnes stratégiai szintre emelte a vállalaton belül a hazai gyümölcsfeldolgozást, továbbfejlesztette a 12 éve népszerű “Köszönjük Sió!” iskolatáskaprogramot is, valamint 2019-ben újrapozícionálta a piacvezető SIÓ-márkát. Kovács Ágnes 2017 óta vezetőségi tagja a Magyar Ásványvíz, Gyümölcsé és Üdítőital Szövetségnek (MAGYÜSZ). Széleskörű hazai és nemzetközi iparági tapasztalatokkal rendelkezik. Korábban öt évig dolgozott a világ legnagyobb snacktermékeket gyártó vállalata, a Mondelēz International svájci európai régiós központjában különböző pozíciókban, legutoljára marketingvezetőként és az átalakítási folyamatok irányítójaként. 2004–2012 között értékesítési és kereskedelmi marketingigazgató volt a Johnson & Johnson magyarországi leányvállalatánál. 2003 és 2004 között az Unilevernél, 1999–2003 között a Marsnál, 1993–1999 között a United Biscuits (UB) vállalatnál dolgozott számos pozícióban a vevőkapcsolati, értékesítési és marketing területeken. Egyetemi diplomáját az Oxford Brookes University-n szerezte 1995-ben. 2016-ban elvégezte a London School of Business and Finance (LSBF) kétéves posztgraduális stratégiai marketing továbbképzését.
