Peter Baumgartner

Peter Baumgartner is Partner and Managing Director of WTS and heads the business section Supply Chain Strategy with the service lines Customs & Trade, Transfer Pricing, VAT and Energy Taxes. Peter Baumgartner joined WTS in May 2011 and worked before 10 years within the BMW Group as Global Head of Indirect Tax & Customs and Head of Corporate Tax Europe. Prior to BMW, he spent seven years in international tax consultancy with Big Four firms focused on international advisory. Peter Baumgartner began his career at the German Customs Administration before he moved to the Tax Authorities. Due to his many years' professional experience in industry, consulting and with tax authorities, Peter Baumgartner is highly respected as specialist in the field of strategic and operational Customs and International Trade as well as in Transfer Pricing and International Tax advisory.
