The Budapest Economic Forum, traditionally the most important macroeconomic conference of Portfolio, will be held for the fourteenth time on the 17th of October 2024. At the Budapest Economic Forum, every topic that currently deeply concerns representatives of the economic and financial sphere is on the table; year by year, we tailor the programme to the hottest topics.
Mainly Hungarian company leaders, professional investors, and economic and business decision-makers participate in the conference. Among the speakers invited, the most renowned Hungarian and international analysts, experts, economists and opinion leaders appear year to year. The guests can gain up-to-date and credible information about current global and domestic economic and business processes, which have an impact on their companies’ operations as well. In addition, decision-makers will share their potential plans, making the October date ideal for considering the prospects of 2025; as the end of the year approaches, the focus shifts towards the following year.

Megszólaltak a magyar gazdaság csúcsvezetői
Véget ért a Portfolio legjelentősebb makrogazdasági konferenciája, a Budapest Economic Forum 2024, amelyen a legnevesebb hazai és nemzetközi elemzők, szakértők, közgazdászok, szakpolitikusok, bankárok találkoztak. Csányi Sándor, az OTP Bank elnök-vezérigazgatója arról beszélt, hogy nem érdemes más európai bankba fektetni, csak a Peléhez hasonlóan „ólommal a cipőjében” is kiválóan teljesítő OTP-be. Hernádi Zsolt, a Mol-csoport elnök-vezérigazgatója az európai versenyképesség kilátásaival foglalkozott, hangsúlyozta, hogy bár a nemzeti szuverenitást a politikai kérdésekben meg kell hagyni az országoknak, de gazdasági szinten kooperációra van szükség. Varga Mihály pénzügyminiszter szerint jövőre a fogyasztás és a beruházások lesznek a növekedés motorjai. Ezen felül kivezetésre kerülhet néhány kisebb adónem is és a kormány tervei között szerepel a GDP-arányos költségvetési kiadások csökkentése is.

Esik tovább a forint, már 401 közelében az euró
Több hullámban gyengült a csütörtöki kereskedésben a forint, így az euróval szembeni árfolyama ismét a lélektani 400-as szint fölé került. Nem meglepő, hogy van mozgás a hazai fizetőeszköz piacán: ebben szerepet játszott a reggeli magyar inflációs adat, majd Virág Barnabás MNB-alelnök kamatcsökkentési esélyeket mérséklő megszólalása, és délután érkeztek az amerikai makrogazdasági adatok. Mindezen fejlemények fényében rendkívül aktuális és izgalmas lesz az október 17-i konferenciánk, a Budapest Economic Forum.
Még mindig 400 forint felett van az euró! De mégis mi lesz most a forinttal?
400-as euró-forint árfolyam, lassabb gazdasági kilábalás, jövőre várható új jegybankelnök, átalakuló kormányzati gazdaságirányítás, 2026-os parlamenti választások - csak néhány olyan esemény, amely miatt biztosan nem fogunk unatkozni az előttünk álló 1-2 évben. Ebben a helyzetben lesz különösen aktuális és releváns a Portfolio Budapest Economic Forum című gazdasági csúcskonferenciája október 17-én. Gyenge szinten ragadt a forint
Múlt héten jelentős gyengülés után az euró jegyzése 400 fölé nőtt, és meg is ragadt a kerek szint felett. Hétfő délelőtt is esett a forint, ezzel új másfél éves mélypontra került, az esti órákban sem sikerül javítani. A héten számos fontos piacmozgató adat jön, amelyek kihathatnak a forint árfolyamára is. Jövő héten rendezzük meg a Budapest Economic Forum konferenciát, amelynek kiemelt témája lesz a magyar gazdaság jövője, a forint árfolyama is szóba kerül.
34 milliárd forintos GINOP Plusz program indul
A kis- és középvállalatok fejlesztése, digitalizációja, új kormányzati programok is szerepelnek a 15. Infotér konferencia programjában - jelentette be Szabados Richárd, a Nemzetgazdasági Minisztérium (NGM) kis- és középvállalkozások fejlesztéséért és technológiáért felelős államtitkára hétfőn sajtótájékoztatón Budapesten.
Itt a 400-as euró: másfél éves mélypontra ütötték a forintot
Jelentős romlás van a nemzetközi hangulatban, a Fed jelzései után a geopolitikai fejlemények is megmozgatták a devizapiacot. A rossz hangulatban a tőzsdék esnek, és a környezet most nem kedvez a forintnak sem. De ezen túlmenően egyedi magyar okok és több technikai tényező is hozzájárult ahhoz, hogy a forint euróval szembeni árfolyama ma másfél éves mélypontra esett, és átvitte a 400-as szintet. We warmly welcome all interested individuals over the age of 16 who are interested in the event's professional program, would like to participate, and are open to meeting new partners and high-quality networking opportunities.
You can register for our events on the portfolio.hu/rendezvenyek page on the respective event's subpage by clicking the "registration" button. Due to GDPR compliance, we can only admit participants who have registered online in advance or on-site, and (in case of paid events) have a paid ticket to the event area. Online registration is possible until midnight the day before the event; after that, we welcome interested parties on-site, where our colleagues will gladly assist at the registration desk with ticket purchases or, in the case of free events, ticket collection.
In case of full capacity, registration on the website closes, and you can only join a waiting list. In this case, on-site ticket purchases are also suspended. Our colleagues will notify registered applicants on the list about possible participation opportunities depending on available spots.
The participation fee and other costs (room booking, extras, etc.) can be paid by bank transfer or credit card payment during the registration process. It is important to know that in the two days before the event, only credit card payment is available on our website. In the case of paid events, we cannot guarantee participation without payment of the participation fee.
On the day of the event, bank card payment is also available at the registration desk with the assistance of our colleagues.
Our system automatically sends the QR code after the payment has been received and accounted for. In case of free participation, the QR code for entry is sent immediately after registration. Please check the spam, social, and other subfolders in your email system as well. The email will arrive with the subject "Entry ticket for (event name)..." from the noreply@portfolio.hu email address.
If the QR code still hasn't arrived, please check the payment, as the entry QR code is only sent after the participation fee has been paid. After verifying and confirming the payment, please contact our colleagues at rendezveny@portfolio.hu email address. We cannot provide information by phone; in such cases, we can only help in writing.
For free events, if you still cannot find the QR code after checking all folders, please contact our colleagues by email.
In case of interrupted card payment, please contact our colleagues at the above-mentioned email address. Upon request, they can issue an invoice or help restart the process.

The official language of our events is Hungarian. For foreign language presentations and international guests, we provide live or AI simultaneous interpretation in Hungarian and English. The presentation materials, to which our speakers have given their consent, will be sent in the thank-you letter after the event. Video and audio recordings will not be shared from the event. Articles and analyses about the event from our experts can be read on Portfolio.hu, Agrárszektor.hu, and Pénzcentrum.hu.
Online registration is considered an order. Participation in the event requires prior payment of the participation fee. After finalizing and submitting the registration, we do not accept cancellations, we do not refund the ticket. The participation fee must be paid even in case of absence from the event.
After full payment of the participation fee, however, participation can be transferred. In case of a name change, please write to rendezveny@portfolio.hu email address, our colleagues will send a code with which the incoming participant must also be registered on our site, according to our data management policy. On the day of the event, on-site, colleagues can also help if a name change is necessary due to a sudden event.
