The next EU budget cycle is not just about technical details of funding allocation — it will fundamentally shape how the EU addresses regional disparities, manages the green and digital transitions, and reinforces solidarity between Member States. At this final event in Brussels, we will present the full package of outcomes from the EUYOU project – including key findings from our survey on cohesion policy and the policy recommendations developed as part of the project.
The event will focus on the preparation of the 2028–2034 Multiannual Financial Framework. We will explore how the new cycle could respond to current challenges, reshape the use of cohesion funds, and what kind of political consensus might emerge on how it is implemented.
This event is a unique opportunity to meet EU policymakers, policy experts, and researchers in person, and to engage in a dialogue on building a fairer, more efficient and more transparent Europe.
