Nature and the weather were kind to the insurers in 2011, while the economic policy was rather austere. It is hard even to list all the positive and negative shocks which affected the savings market: the market players had to adapt to tax and pension changes, to the strengthening of Swiss Franc, to the final pay off of forex debts, to the accident tax and to a shrinking domestic demand. This wasn’t, by no means, the most successful year for the Hungarian insurance market, and what is next in 2012?
