Energy Investment Forum 2019
This year, one of Hungary's leading investment-focused energy conferences will focus on the upcoming fundamental changes to domestic gas and electricity supply, partly due to changes in global relations, and on the key challenges the energy industry faces as a result. As it has become a tradition at Portfolio's trade conferences, the most important events and trends in the industry, as well as the impact of these, will be presented and explained to participants by prominent professionals from the fields in question.
Among other things, our audience will receive detailed information on Hungary's changes in gas supply import routes and the effect of these on prices and the gas sector as a whole; on changes arising from the updated National Energy Strategy and other regulatory news; on the new, more mature phase of the domestic subsidy system for solar energy; on what factors could influence, and how, energy prices in Hungary in 2020; on the anticipated cost of fossil energy generation and use as carbon-dioxide emission is becoming more expensive; on the increasingly pressing challenges of Hungary's electricity supply with regard to power plant and grid development; and on the latest developments in the EU's energy policy and the creation of a unified European energy market.

November 7-én rendezte meg a Portfolio az Energy Investment Forum rendezvényt, ahol neves előadóktól hallhattunk a klímaváltozás fontosságáról, annak az energetikai következményeiről, a magyar gázhelyzet lehetőségeiről és a különböző típusú erőművek jövőjéről előadásokat. A nap fénypontja a magyar energiavállalatok top menedzsereit felvonultató vezérpanel volt, mely új perspektívákat nyitott a hazai és globális energetika aktuális helyzetének megértéséhez.

Lezajlott a Portfolio tizedik alkalommal megrendezett energetikai konferenciája, az Energy Investment Forum. A konferencia fókuszában ezúttal a hazai gáz- és villamosenergia-ellátás küszöbön álló - részben a nemzetközi viszonyok változásából fakadó - alapvető átalakulása, illetve az energiaszektorban ezek hatására jelentkező leglényegesebb kihívások álltak. Magyarországon mindig lesz orosz gáz. A Portfolio Energy Investment Forum konferenciáját Dr. Kaderják Péter energiaügyekért és klímapolitikáért felelős államtitkár előadás nyitotta meg, amiben bemutatta, hogy milyen stratégiai változásokra van szükség ahhoz, hogy tartani tudjuk azokat a klímacélokat, amelynek köszönhetően nemcsak élhető környezetet tarthatunk fent, de akár a világ más országai számára is példát mutathatunk. Ehhez persze radikális változásokra lesz szükség.

Fee includes: conference documentation, full lunch and coffee breaks and evening program. The conference is bilingual with English-Hungarian simultaneous interpretation.
We do not send any kind of ticket or voucher. Each participant is added to the conference registration list upon online check-in, which also includes the lecturers and the sponsors' guests. The participants will only need a business card and a signature at the conference location, entering the event at the registration desk. Following a quick registration our guests may enter the area of the event.

We warmly welcome all interested individuals over the age of 16 who are interested in the event's professional program, would like to participate, and are open to meeting new partners and high-quality networking opportunities.
You can register for our events on the portfolio.hu/rendezvenyek page on the respective event's subpage by clicking the "registration" button. Due to GDPR compliance, we can only admit participants who have registered online in advance or on-site, and (in case of paid events) have a paid ticket to the event area. Online registration is possible until midnight the day before the event; after that, we welcome interested parties on-site, where our colleagues will gladly assist at the registration desk with ticket purchases or, in the case of free events, ticket collection.
In case of full capacity, registration on the website closes, and you can only join a waiting list. In this case, on-site ticket purchases are also suspended. Our colleagues will notify registered applicants on the list about possible participation opportunities depending on available spots.

The participation fee and other costs (room booking, extras, etc.) can be paid by bank transfer or credit card payment during the registration process. It is important to know that in the two days before the event, only credit card payment is available on our website. In the case of paid events, we cannot guarantee participation without payment of the participation fee.
On the day of the event, bank card payment is also available at the registration desk with the assistance of our colleagues.
Our system automatically sends the QR code after the payment has been received and accounted for. In case of free participation, the QR code for entry is sent immediately after registration. Please check the spam, social, and other subfolders in your email system as well. The email will arrive with the subject "Entry ticket for (event name)..." from the noreply@portfolio.hu email address.
If the QR code still hasn't arrived, please check the payment, as the entry QR code is only sent after the participation fee has been paid. After verifying and confirming the payment, please contact our colleagues at rendezveny@portfolio.hu email address. We cannot provide information by phone; in such cases, we can only help in writing.
For free events, if you still cannot find the QR code after checking all folders, please contact our colleagues by email.
In case of interrupted card payment, please contact our colleagues at the above-mentioned email address. Upon request, they can issue an invoice or help restart the process.

The official language of our events is Hungarian. For foreign language presentations and international guests, we provide live or AI simultaneous interpretation in Hungarian and English. Please check the availability of this on the information tab, and our colleagues are happy to help at rendezveny@portfolio.hu email address if you have questions.
The presentation materials, to which our speakers have given their consent, will be sent in the thank-you letter after the event. Video and audio recordings will not be shared from the event. Articles and analyses about the event from our experts can be read on Portfolio.hu, Agrárszektor.hu, and Pénzcentrum.hu.
Online registration is considered an order. Participation in the event requires prior payment of the participation fee. After finalizing and submitting the registration, we do not accept cancellations, we do not refund the ticket. The participation fee must be paid even in case of absence from the event.
After full payment of the participation fee, however, participation can be transferred. In case of a name change, please write to rendezveny@portfolio.hu email address, our colleagues will send a code with which the incoming participant must also be registered on our site, according to our data management policy. On the day of the event, on-site, colleagues can also help if a name change is necessary due to a sudden event.
