The aim of Portfolio IWS (Investment, Wealth Management and Savings) 2017 conference is to provide information, with the help of foreign and domestic experts, for advisors, salespersons and those interested in investment opportunities about investments practices and opportunities this year in the background with such events causing market turbulences as the election of Donald Trump or the French and German elections.
The Hungarian savings market was all about government bonds and rising housing market investments last year, while domestic stock exchange increased significantly in 2016 as well. It’s not an easy task, however, to find domestic investments with more appealing yields than those of government securities; low yields pose a great challenge for domestic fund managers and private banking participants as well. With a lower risk taking, however, several investment opportunities can be found not only on the domestic market but on foreign markets as well. The question if stocks, bonds or forex investments give us higher yield options will be answered by market experts on the Portfolio IWS (Investments, Wealth Management and Savings) 2017 conference.
Moreover, banks, fund managers, brokerages and private banks will experience great changes as well, the introduction of MiFID II will fundamentally shake up sales and product development practices on the market, while protecting investors and providing them wider range of information will be underlined more than ever. With the new rules, domestic market participants might have to live with low yields until the end of 2018, so the importance of customized services and advisors who are familiar with market tendencies will increase even more.

We do not send any kind of ticket or voucher. Each participant is added to the conference registration list upon online check-in, which also includes the lecturers and the sponsors' guests. The participants will only need a business card and a signature at the conference location, entering the event at the registration desk. Following a quick registration our guests may enter the area of the event.

You can register for our events on the portfolio.hu/rendezvenyek page on the respective event's subpage by clicking the "registration" button. Due to GDPR compliance, we can only admit participants who have registered online in advance or on-site, and (in case of paid events) have a paid ticket to the event area. Online registration is possible until midnight the day before the event; after that, we welcome interested parties on-site, where our colleagues will gladly assist at the registration desk with ticket purchases or, in the case of free events, ticket collection.
In case of full capacity, registration on the website closes, and you can only join a waiting list. In this case, on-site ticket purchases are also suspended. Our colleagues will notify registered applicants on the list about possible participation opportunities depending on available spots.
The participation fee and other costs (room booking, extras, etc.) can be paid by bank transfer or credit card payment during the registration process. It is important to know that in the two days before the event, only credit card payment is available on our website. In the case of paid events, we cannot guarantee participation without payment of the participation fee.
On the day of the event, credit card payment is also available on-site at the registration desk with our colleagues.
Our system automatically sends the QR code after the payment has been received and accounted for. In case of free participation, the QR code for entry is sent immediately after registration. Please check the spam, social, and other subfolders in your email system as well. The email will arrive with the subject "Entry ticket for (event name)..." from the noreply@portfolio.hu email address.
If the QR code still hasn't arrived, please check the payment, as the entry QR code is only sent after the participation fee has been paid. After verifying and confirming the payment, please contact our colleagues at rendezveny@portfolio.hu email address. We cannot provide information by phone; in such cases, we can only help in writing.
For free events, if you still can't find the code after checking the folders, please contact our colleagues by email.
In case of interrupted card payment, please contact our colleagues at the above-mentioned email address. Upon request, they can issue an invoice or help restart the process.

The official language of our events is Hungarian. For foreign language presentations and international guests, we provide live or AI simultaneous interpretation in Hungarian and English. The presentation materials, to which our speakers have given their consent, will be sent in the thank-you letter after the event. Video and audio recordings will not be shared from the event. Articles and analyses about the event from our experts can be read on Portfolio.hu, Agrárszektor.hu, and Pénzcentrum.hu.
Online registration is considered an order. Participation in the event requires prior payment of the participation fee. After finalizing and submitting the registration, we do not accept cancellations, we do not refund the ticket. The participation fee must be paid even in case of absence from the event.
After full payment of the participation fee, however, participation can be transferred. In case of a name change, please write to rendezveny@portfolio.hu email address, our colleagues will send a code with which the incoming participant must also be registered on our site, according to our data management policy. On the day of the event, on-site, colleagues can also help if a name change is necessary due to a sudden event.
