Banking Technology 2021
This is the 6th time we organize our Banking Technology conference, one of the most significant intellectual workshops of the banking and IT sectors and fintech companies, covering topics on the digital transformation of banks and discussing the key IT-business and technology development trends of the sector. Banks lagging behind plan to take a digital jump, the digitally more advanced ones are exploring new innovations to keep their positions, while B2C fintechs and bigtechs challenge the banks in an increasing number of areas as competition intensifies. MNB is convinced that the sector still needs a major change of approach together with substantial and comprehensive developments, and following MNB’s recommendations, banks will present their digital strategies and related schedules in October. This is the sixth year when the best of the top managers of the banking sector and the finest of fintech gurus, regulators and IT-company experts gather at our conference to exchange ideas in the major business and IT issues of the banking sector.

A tavaly márciusban elindult azonnali fizetési rendszer (AFR) továbbfejlesztésén dolgozik az MNB – derült ki a Portfolio mai Banking Technology 2021 konferenciáján, részleteket azonban egyelőre nem árult el a jegybank igazgatója. Számos aktuális kérdésről, így az AFR-re épülő ökoszisztémákról, a buy now, pay later (BNPL) terjedéséről és a digitális jegybankpénzről is szó esett a kora délutáni panelbeszélgetésen.

A magyar bankok 70-80 százaléka használja már a mesterséges intelligenciát, de egyelőre csak egyes feladatokra, szigetszerűen, és nem a teljes értékláncban. Egyre jobban leegyszerűsödő bankolást ígértek a Portfolio mai Banking Technology 2021 konferenciájának első panelbeszélgetésében hazai bankok vezetői. A mesterséges intelligencia előretörését prognosztizálták, a felhőtechnológia területén pedig többen hazai összefogást sürgetnek. A beszélgetés végén kommentálták a Revolut Bank magyarországi megjelenését és terjeszkedését is.

A marginok általános csökkenése és általános perszonalizáció várható a pénzügyi szolgáltatások széles palettáján, és láthatatlanná válik a mindennapi bankolás, a megatrendekre pedig a bankoknak mielőbb hatékony választ kell találniuk. Banking Technology 2021 konferenciánkon a McKinsey partnere tartott erről előadást.
Megszólalt a Revolut Bank a magyarországi terveiről
Andrius Biceika, a Revolut Bank vezérigazgató-helyettese Banking Technology konferenciánk nyitóbeszélgetésében elmondta, hogy előbb utóbb a Revolut Bank Magyarországon is meg fog jelenni a személyi hitelekkel, hitelkártyákkal, azonban csak a helyi szabályozókkal egyetértésben tehetik ezt majd meg. A 33 milliárd dolláros neobank párbeszédet folytat az MNB-vel is erről, és a szakember azt is elárulta, globális szuperappá szeretnének válni, ez pedig további új szolgáltatásokat fog jelenteni a Revolut appjában.

We warmly welcome all interested individuals over the age of 16 who are interested in the event's professional program, would like to participate, and are open to meeting new partners and high-quality networking opportunities.
You can register for our events on the portfolio.hu/rendezvenyek page on the respective event's subpage by clicking the "registration" button. Due to GDPR compliance, we can only admit participants who have registered online in advance or on-site, and (in case of paid events) have a paid ticket to the event area. Online registration is possible until midnight the day before the event; after that, we welcome interested parties on-site, where our colleagues will gladly assist at the registration desk with ticket purchases or, in the case of free events, ticket collection.
In case of full capacity, registration on the website closes, and you can only join a waiting list. In this case, on-site ticket purchases are also suspended. Our colleagues will notify registered applicants on the list about possible participation opportunities depending on available spots.
The participation fee and other costs (room booking, extras, etc.) can be paid by bank transfer or credit card payment during the registration process. It is important to know that in the two days before the event, only credit card payment is available on our website. In the case of paid events, we cannot guarantee participation without payment of the participation fee.
On the day of the event, bank card payment is also available at the registration desk with the assistance of our colleagues.
Our system automatically sends the QR code after the payment has been received and accounted for. In case of free participation, the QR code for entry is sent immediately after registration. Please check the spam, social, and other subfolders in your email system as well. The email will arrive with the subject "Entry ticket for (event name)..." from the noreply@portfolio.hu email address.
If the QR code still hasn't arrived, please check the payment, as the entry QR code is only sent after the participation fee has been paid. After verifying and confirming the payment, please contact our colleagues at rendezveny@portfolio.hu email address. We cannot provide information by phone; in such cases, we can only help in writing.
For free events, if you still cannot find the QR code after checking all folders, please contact our colleagues by email.
In case of interrupted card payment, please contact our colleagues at the above-mentioned email address. Upon request, they can issue an invoice or help restart the process.

The official language of our events is Hungarian. For foreign language presentations and international guests, we provide live or AI simultaneous interpretation in Hungarian and English. Please check the availability of this on the information tab, and our colleagues are happy to help at rendezveny@portfolio.hu email address if you have questions.
The presentation materials, to which our speakers have given their consent, will be sent in the thank-you letter after the event. Video and audio recordings will not be shared from the event. Articles and analyses about the event from our experts can be read on Portfolio.hu, Agrárszektor.hu, and Pénzcentrum.hu.
Online registration is considered an order. Participation in the event requires prior payment of the participation fee. After finalizing and submitting the registration, we do not accept cancellations, we do not refund the ticket. The participation fee must be paid even in case of absence from the event.
After full payment of the participation fee, however, participation can be transferred. In case of a name change, please write to rendezveny@portfolio.hu email address, our colleagues will send a code with which the incoming participant must also be registered on our site, according to our data management policy. On the day of the event, on-site, colleagues can also help if a name change is necessary due to a sudden event.
