NOTICE

Under Section 6/C, Paragraph (3) of Government Decree 484/2020 (10 November) on the second phase of pandemic defence measures during the state of emergency, our events may only be attended by people immune to the coronavirus

Net Média Zrt. as the organiser has an obligation to verify the immunity of all participants, which they may prove either by an immunity certificate as per Section 2/A of the decree, or the equivalent application-based certificate as per Government Decree  60/2021 (12 February). Both require personal ID as well. Please bring the above documents to the event, as otherwise Net Média Zrt. as organiser has the right and obligation to deny and prevent entry to the event even with a valid ticket, as per Section 6/C Paragraph (5) of the decree.

Why you should come?

In 2021, we will be holding our third exclusive annual event for the most prominent players in the Hungarian construction industry: the Construction Industry 2021 conference. Following up on the success and growth of recent years, we will be offering a new hybrid format (offline and online) in the spring of 2021 to fit the new world, with a full-day live professional programme and supplementary online content and even more timely topics and more speakers, while also providing room for networking opportunities as much as circumstances allow and honouring outstanding players in the Hungarian construction industry with an award.


The efficiency and profitability of professional construction industry players is determined not just by projects undertaken and completed on time and on specification but is also affected also by a host of other factors from other areas of the economy, innovation and regulation. The availability and distribution of European Union funds, government projects, the capacity and efficiency of individual businesses, labour shortages, the price and availability of construction materials, the opportunities offered by digitalisation and innovation, and the design process are all issues that go beyond the scope and perpetual topics of the construction industry. 


We will discuss burning issues and topics including the role of the state with regard to the future of the industry, the challenges and changes due to the pandemic, the labour shortage, the increasingly important role of innovation, digitalisation and robotisation, the deadlines and exchange rate risks keeping the market under pressure, the whitening and financing of the industry, economies of scale and machinisation, the lack of trained young professionals, the new world order that has disrupted the property market, and everything that may be important to the future of the Hungarian construction industry with regard to constructors, regulators, developers, designers, operators, inspectors, educators, financers or lawyers.
