Energy Investment Forum 2020
The global economy has taken a huge blow early this year as the coronavirus outbreak escalated into a worldwide pandemic, and the energy industry could not avoid the manifold effects of the pandemic, either. One of Hungary's most prominent energy industry conferences will focus on the consequences of the coronavirus crisis and the major drop in fossil fuel prices this year. At the event, renowned experts in various fields will share their views on the future of the industry and the most timely issues, challenges and opportunities it now faces.
Among other things, participants at our conference will receive detailed information on expected future oil prices; on the effect of dropping fossil fuel prices on the continued emergence of alternative energy sources; on innovation opportunities in the energy industry; on 2050 carbon neutrality targets and the related Hungarian plans; on Hungary's increasingly diversified gas supply; and on news in the domestic electricity industry.

A hidrogén hozhatja el a megújuló energiák áttörését
Olcsó és karbonsemleges elektromos energiára van szükség ahhoz, hogy megvalósuljon a dekarbonizáció, ehhez azonban olcsó energiatárolási megoldás kell, amit a Stefan Reichelstein, a Stanford GSB professzora szerint a hidrogén hozhat el. Hasonlóképpen vélekedett a Hydrogen Europe titkára is, aki szintén előadott a Portfolio Energy Investment Forum 2020 online konferenciáján az MVM csoportszintű technológiai innovációs igazgatója mellett.

Az Alteo vezérigazgatója szerint a fenntarthatóságnak ma már versenyképességi szempontnak kell lennie egy vállalat stratégiájában, a MET Magyarország vezérigazgatója úgy látja, a vírus-válság tanulsága, hogy nem lehet csak országos szinten gondolkozni, a PwC Legal partnere szerint pedig a létfontosságú rendszereket üzemeltető vállaltoknak fel kell készülnie, hogy a különleges jogrend keretében szigorúbb állami felügyelet jöhet a második hullám miatt. Helyzetbe hoznák a geotermiát a távhőrendszer fejlesztésére
Egyre kevesebb támogatásra lesz majd szükség a megújulóenergia termeléshez, 4 újabb pályázat kiírás várható 2022 közepéig a Metár-rendszer keretében, a lakossági megújuló beruházásra is elérhetőek lesznek vissza nem térítendő támogatások és a geotermiával kapcsolatos beruházások támogatási rendszere is jön 2021-ben – mondta a Portfolio online konferenciáján Kádár Andrea, az Innovációs és Technológiai Minisztérium energetikáért felelős helyettes államtitkára.

Az innovációkkal és mesterséges intelligencia megoldásokkal van egy olyan lehetőség, hogy minőségi ugrást lehessen végrehajtani, de ez nem egyik napról a másikra fog megtörténni. Varró László: Magyarország megérkezett a napenergia-korszakba
Precedens nélküli válságot hozott a koronavírus-járvány, ami az energetikára is hatással volt. Az olaj globális kereslete esett, a gáz részesedést szerzett egy csökkenő piacon, a megújuló energia pedig növekedni tudott. A klímaváltozás megfékezéséhez, a párizsi klímaegyezmény teljesítéséhez azon a pályán kellene haladni, amit idén láthattunk, csak nem a gazdaság leállításával kellene elérni. Magyarországon a napenergia elérkezett a fordulóponthoz, az elektromobilitás terén pedig jól áll - mondta el varró László, az IEA vezető közgazdásza a Portfolio online energetikai konferenciáján.

We warmly welcome all interested individuals over the age of 16 who are interested in the event's professional program, would like to participate, and are open to meeting new partners and high-quality networking opportunities.
You can register for our events on the portfolio.hu/rendezvenyek page on the respective event's subpage by clicking the "registration" button. Due to GDPR compliance, we can only admit participants who have registered online in advance or on-site, and (in case of paid events) have a paid ticket to the event area. Online registration is possible until midnight the day before the event; after that, we welcome interested parties on-site, where our colleagues will gladly assist at the registration desk with ticket purchases or, in the case of free events, ticket collection.
In case of full capacity, registration on the website closes, and you can only join a waiting list. In this case, on-site ticket purchases are also suspended. Our colleagues will notify registered applicants on the list about possible participation opportunities depending on available spots.

The participation fee and other costs (room booking, extras, etc.) can be paid by bank transfer or credit card payment during the registration process. It is important to know that in the two days before the event, only credit card payment is available on our website. In the case of paid events, we cannot guarantee participation without payment of the participation fee.
On the day of the event, bank card payment is also available at the registration desk with the assistance of our colleagues.
Our system automatically sends the QR code after the payment has been received and accounted for. In case of free participation, the QR code for entry is sent immediately after registration. Please check the spam, social, and other subfolders in your email system as well. The email will arrive with the subject "Entry ticket for (event name)..." from the noreply@portfolio.hu email address.
If the QR code still hasn't arrived, please check the payment, as the entry QR code is only sent after the participation fee has been paid. After verifying and confirming the payment, please contact our colleagues at rendezveny@portfolio.hu email address. We cannot provide information by phone; in such cases, we can only help in writing.
For free events, if you still cannot find the QR code after checking all folders, please contact our colleagues by email.
In case of interrupted card payment, please contact our colleagues at the above-mentioned email address. Upon request, they can issue an invoice or help restart the process.

The official language of our events is Hungarian. For foreign language presentations and international guests, we provide live or AI simultaneous interpretation in Hungarian and English. Please check the availability of this on the information tab, and our colleagues are happy to help at rendezveny@portfolio.hu email address if you have questions.
The presentation materials, to which our speakers have given their consent, will be sent in the thank-you letter after the event. Video and audio recordings will not be shared from the event. Articles and analyses about the event from our experts can be read on Portfolio.hu, Agrárszektor.hu, and Pénzcentrum.hu.
Online registration is considered an order. Participation in the event requires prior payment of the participation fee. After finalizing and submitting the registration, we do not accept cancellations, we do not refund the ticket. The participation fee must be paid even in case of absence from the event.
After full payment of the participation fee, however, participation can be transferred. In case of a name change, please write to rendezveny@portfolio.hu email address, our colleagues will send a code with which the incoming participant must also be registered on our site, according to our data management policy. On the day of the event, on-site, colleagues can also help if a name change is necessary due to a sudden event.
