Self-Reliance 2021
The global economy is beginning to recover from the negative spiral caused by the coronavirus. Although early in the pandemic, it seemed savings would also suffer, these fears were short-lived as household savings grew substantially in Hungary just as they did around the world. Household assets held in government securities are nearing HUF 10,000 billion, but investment funds, deposits, stocks and retirement savings have also grown. For pension funds, the good news is that they no longer have to fear a state-owned competitor in the market as the government has abandoned the idea of retirement bonds. But will the market of retirement savings be able to reach younger generations, something it had failed to do so far? What will happen to the concept of welfare funds? Assets managed by private banks also rose to a new record high during the pandemic, even as new, online world order made acquiring new customers substantially more difficult. What are the future expectations of the private banking sector? Will the era of private bankers and personal meetings return, or should we prepare for a virtual future? Will they be able to acquire new customers, or will the increasing wealth of existing customers drive growth in the short term? Meanwhile, the recovery of household consumption represents another new challenge for the self-reliance and savings market. What will happen to the extra savings stockpiled during the pandemic? What tools can market players use to encourage long-term savings? Will digitalisation and online customer service bring changes in this regard? Or will incumbents find that the biggest issue is not consumption but rather fintechs and online investment service providers, which have come to the fore during the pandemic? A lot of exciting questions that we will seek to answer at Portfolio's Self-reliance 2021 conference with the help of professionals from the savings and self-reliance markets.

Kezd talpra állni a világgazdaság a koronavírus okozta negatív spirálból, de még nem tudni, mit okoz a törékeny gazdasági fellendülésnek az egyre biztosabbnak tűnő negyedik hullám. Bár a pandémia elején úgy tűnt, a megtakarítások is megsínylik a járványt, a félelem rövid éltűnek bizonyult: ahogyan a világban, úgy Magyarországon is jelentősen nőttek a lakossági megtakarítások, és egyre nagyobb teret hasít ki magának az ESG. A Portfolio Öngondoskodás 2021 konferenciáján az MNB szakértője elárulta, hogy itthon is volt több alapkezelőnél probléma a rejtett indexkövetéssel, a sikerdíjak meghatározása kapcsán pedig kitért a tipikus hibákra, és megosztott pár jó tanácsot is a közönséggel.

Változó piaci környezetben is dinamikusan növekednek a hazai megtakarítások, részben, de nem kizárólag a hitelmoratórium hatására – mondta előadásában Kandrács Csaba MNB-alelnök a Portfolio mai Öngondoskodás 2021 konferenciáján. Az MNB azt szeretné, ha a fiskális élénkítés intézményesített formában csapódna le a lakossági megtakarítások piacán, megújulna például a lakossági állampapírok kínálata, és továbbra is szorgalmazzák az öngondoskodást segítő jóléti alapok felállítását.

We warmly welcome all interested individuals over the age of 16 who are interested in the event's professional program, would like to participate, and are open to meeting new partners and high-quality networking opportunities.
You can register for our events on the portfolio.hu/rendezvenyek page on the respective event's subpage by clicking the "registration" button. Due to GDPR compliance, we can only admit participants who have registered online in advance or on-site, and (in case of paid events) have a paid ticket to the event area. Online registration is possible until midnight the day before the event; after that, we welcome interested parties on-site, where our colleagues will gladly assist at the registration desk with ticket purchases or, in the case of free events, ticket collection.
In case of full capacity, registration on the website closes, and you can only join a waiting list. In this case, on-site ticket purchases are also suspended. Our colleagues will notify registered applicants on the list about possible participation opportunities depending on available spots.
The participation fee and other costs (room booking, extras, etc.) can be paid by bank transfer or credit card payment during the registration process. It is important to know that in the two days before the event, only credit card payment is available on our website. In the case of paid events, we cannot guarantee participation without payment of the participation fee.
On the day of the event, bank card payment is also available at the registration desk with the assistance of our colleagues.
Our system automatically sends the QR code after the payment has been received and accounted for. In case of free participation, the QR code for entry is sent immediately after registration. Please check the spam, social, and other subfolders in your email system as well. The email will arrive with the subject "Entry ticket for (event name)..." from the noreply@portfolio.hu email address.
If the QR code still hasn't arrived, please check the payment, as the entry QR code is only sent after the participation fee has been paid. After verifying and confirming the payment, please contact our colleagues at rendezveny@portfolio.hu email address. We cannot provide information by phone; in such cases, we can only help in writing.
For free events, if you still cannot find the QR code after checking all folders, please contact our colleagues by email.
In case of interrupted card payment, please contact our colleagues at the above-mentioned email address. Upon request, they can issue an invoice or help restart the process.

The official language of our events is Hungarian. For foreign language presentations and international guests, we provide live or AI simultaneous interpretation in Hungarian and English. The presentation materials, to which our speakers have given their consent, will be sent in the thank-you letter after the event. Video and audio recordings will not be shared from the event. Articles and analyses about the event from our experts can be read on Portfolio.hu, Agrárszektor.hu, and Pénzcentrum.hu.
Online registration is considered an order. Participation in the event requires prior payment of the participation fee. After finalizing and submitting the registration, we do not accept cancellations, we do not refund the ticket. The participation fee must be paid even in case of absence from the event.
After full payment of the participation fee, however, participation can be transferred. In case of a name change, please write to rendezveny@portfolio.hu email address, our colleagues will send a code with which the incoming participant must also be registered on our site, according to our data management policy. On the day of the event, on-site, colleagues can also help if a name change is necessary due to a sudden event.
