Coca-Cola to spend EUR 6.5 mn on warehouse expansion in Hungary

Coca-Cola HBC Hungary is investing two billion forints (cc. EUR 6.5 mn) to develop its warehouse base in Dunaharaszti, which will thus have the largest storage capacity in the local food industry.

Over the last few years, Coca-Cola HBC Hungary has become the largest exporter in Coca-Cola HBC Group which is present in 28 countries. It exports 70 kinds of beverages to 25 countries.

Rising exports made it necessary to up its storage capacity, and the company is now investing HUF 2 bn to add a 6,500-square-metre warehouse to its headquarters in Dunaharaszti.

After completion, which is expected this June, the facility will be the largest storage unit in Hungary’s food industry.

Total warehouse area is to reach about 37,000 sqm - more than that of five soccer fields - with capacity to store 33.6 million litres of finished products.
