AutoWallis sales up 21% last year
Sales abroad rose 15% last year to 1,996 new cars, while domestic new car sales were 21.2% higher at 3,210 cars and used car sales rose 39% to 802.
Within the automotive services business unit, the number of service hours increased by 12.6% to 49,640, and the fleet size calculated on the basis of vehicle rentals grew by 10.7% to 592 vehicles. The slight 1.8% increase in the number of rental events was counterbalanced by the 12.5% higher number of rental days (139,437) and longer average rentals.
AutoWallis is well on its way to implementing the corporate strategy announced last spring based on 2019 sales data, CEO Gábor Ormosy said, adding that organic growth is still strong, domestic growth is above the market average, and the foreign markets of AutoWallis are also characterized by a growth surpassing the EU average.
The company is planning robust revenue growth, projecting HUF 142 billion, more than double its 2018 IFRS revenue of HUF 65.5 bn, in 2024, or HUF 187 bn including acquisitions.
AutoWallis shares have gained 1.5% today and 5% this year.
