Hungarian no-frills carrier Wizz Air has published a statement on Friday regarding the cancellation of further flights to and from Ukraine and Russia.

Wizz Air has decided to cancel all its flights to and from Russia until the end of the summer timetable on 30 October 2022, taking into account the current war situation and market developments,

the company said in a statement.

At the same time, all flights to and from Ukraine will be suspended until the end of June, and the flights concerned have already been removed from the booking system by Wizz Air.

The airline, listed on the London Stock Exchange has apologised to its passengers for the inconvenience, and promised to inform them about any further change in due course, as it has done in the past.
