Morgan Stanley slashes target price for Hungary's OTP

Portfolio
Morgan Stanley has lowered its target price substantially for OTP shares, according to Equilor's newsletter. In addition, the US banking house also revised its previous buy recommendation on OTP shares to hold.

Rontotta az OTP kilátásait a Morgan Stanley, a bank a korábbi 21 200 forintos ajánlását 13 600 forintra módosította, ami a mostani árfolyamszintekhez képest csupán 27,3 százalékos felértékelődési potenciált feltételez. Emellett a korábbi felülsúlyozási ajánlását is tartásra módosította a Morgan Stanely.

Morgan Stanley has lowered its outlook on OTP, adjusting its target price of HUF 21,200 to HUF 13,600, which marks an upside potential of only 27.3% compared to current price levels. In addition, Morgan Stanely has also revised its previous 'Overweight' recommendation to 'Hold'.

According to Refinitiv's database, nine analysts currently have a 'Buy' recommendation on OTP, while three offer the stock to 'Hold' and there are no 'Sell' recommendations. The average target price of analysts is HUF 18,518.5 forints, although to be fair, there are only two of these analyses - including the current one by Morgan Stanley - that were made after Russia invaded Ukraine on 24 February.
