Wood generates largest turnover among Hungarian brokerages in January

The total turnover of the domestic stock market in January was modest at HUF 205 billion, equivalent to HUF 9.3 billion of daily turnover. OTP, Richter and Mol were again the three most traded stocks, with HUF 128.8 billion for the bank, HUF 40.3 billion for the pharmaceutical company and HUF 26.6 billion for the energy group.

OTP shares accounted for 62.7% of the turnover, followed by Richter with 19.6% and Mol with 12.9%.

Among investment service providers, Wood & Company came first, followed by Concorde in second place and Erste Bank in third.

In the commodity sector, trade amounted to HUF 154.8 million, of which 63.2% was in sustainable feed wheat, 19.6% in feed maize and 17.3% in sunflower seeds with a high oil content.
