No wage agreement yet at Audi in Győr

Wage negotiations between Audi employees and employers in Győr continued yesterday, 19 February, but no agreement was reached, the Audi Hungária Independent Trade Union informed.

The second round of wage negotiations with representatives of Audi Hungaria Ltd took place today, the union said. "During the meeting, no new offer was presented by either party, so everyone argued in favour of their original demands and offers," they said.

The talks included discussing all options and wage elements that could play a role in resolving the negotiations, they added. The union's delegation said its original demand was a good basis to continue wage negotiations.

A round of negotiations took place earlier this month, when workers demanded, among other things, a 12% pay rise.

The parties agreed to hold the next round of wage negotiations on 26 February 2024.
