Who's going to wake the forint up?

Portfolio
Hungary's forint has been slumbering in morning trade on Thursday and has hardly moved from its Wednesday's closing level so far. Government bond yields went down moderately on the secondary market.
The HUF opened at 245.50/70 versus the euro and is seen stuck in the 245.50/246.00 range. Recently it has been 13.00%-13.05% above parity in its trading band.

Against the dollar it began to test the 191.00 level and has recently been quoted at 191.40/70.

The EUR/HUF exchange rate is to be affected by the result of a bond auction today and October's public sector deficit data due after market close on Friday.

The yield of government securities dropped by 4-9 basis points on the fixed income market ahead of an auction of 12-month T-bills, the outcome of which is due at 1200 local time. The offered amount is HUF 25 billion.
