Market rumour has it that larger hedge funds have started to buy forint again, which contributed to its rise.
Experts believe there will not be a substantial firming of the national currency before the afternoon meeting of the Federal Reserve's Open Market Committee, as markets will be shuffling their feet until the rate decision.

The Government Debt Management Agency (ÁKK) is holding an auction of 3-month discount T-bill today with results due at 12:00 local time. The offered amount is HUF 35 billion.
