Hungary lifts 3-m T-bill auction 5 bn over heavy demand

Portfolio
Hungary's Government Debt Management Agency (ÁKK) has received HUF 121.4 billion worth of bids on HUF 40 billion 3-month (D061213) treasury bills at an auction on Tuesday. Seeing the 3x bid/cover ratio, the ÁKK decided to sell HUF 5 billion more of the instrument than originally planned.
The average yield was set to 7.78%, up 13 basis points from Monday's benchmark fixing (of series D061220) and 2 bps higher than at the previous auction of the paper a week ago.

Accepted bids were between 7.74% and 7.81%.
