Catelli to launch EUR 100 m project in Hungary, resources hazy
According to a report by business daily Napi Gazdaság, Amidon is to build five facilities in Miskolc, including an apple jelly plant, a unit producing raw materials for drugs, a bioethanol unit and a logistics centre. The facilities will directly create 2,000 jobs and another 3,000 via suppliers.
While the local government will provide financial support to the project, the company could not say for the time being how they would cover the expenses of mega project.
