Hungary sells HUF 40 bn 12-m bills, yield drops

Hungary's Government Debt Management Agency (ÁKK) has received HUF 70.5 billion worth of bids on HUF 40 billion 12-month discount treasury bills (D071121) at an auction on Thursday.
The 1.76x bid-to-cover ratio compares with 3.86x at the previous auction of the bill on 16 November.

The average yield was set to 8.02%, up by 2 basis points from Wednesday's benchmark fixing but down from 8.25% from the previous auction.

Accepted bids were between 7.96% and 8.05%.
