Hungary forint firms a touch to EUR, USD

EUR/HUF opened Monday's session at around 254.00/30 and firmed to around 253.50 by noon and did not move much from there by late afternoon. Against the USD, the HUF firmed to 190.00 from around 190.50 in the morning.

The Central Statistics Office (KSH) is set to publish May inflation data on Tuesday at 09:00 CET. Analysts in a Portfolio.hu poll projected CPI to drop further to 8.4-8.5% in May from 8.8% in April and 9.0% in March.

Foreign data will be decisive for Hungarian markets from Wednesday onward.
