Hungarian T-bill yields on the rise

Portfolio
Hungary's State Debt Management Center (ÁKK) received HUF 80.2 billion in bids today for a HUF 40 billion lot of 3-month zero-coupon treasury bill offered in auction (D090422). Prompted by moderate demand, ÁKK did not raise the amount on offer, which resulted in a bid-to-cover ratio of 2 and 9.40% average yield.
Today's 9.40% yield is 12 bp higher than yesterday's secondary market benchmark (D090603) and exceeds the yield of last week's issue by 20 bp. The yield on all accepted bids was invariably 9.40%.
