Demand for Hungarian T-bills doubled

Portfolio
At today's 3-month T-bill auction for the D090729 series, Hungary's State Debt Management Center (ÁKK) has received HUF 112.33 billion worth of bids for a HUF 40 billion lot on offer. Despite the strong demand (bids totalled nearly twice the corresponding amount last week), ÁKK did not go above the offered amount, which resulted in a debt-to-cover ratio of 2.8 and 9.66% yield.
This average yields exceeds yesterday's secondary market benckmark and the previous issue by 18 bp and 3 bp, respectively. Yields were spread between 9.50% and 9.70%.
