There are risks to Hungary's 2010 budget - FinMin
“The government is not considering a modification to this year’s budget deficit target; it devotes its every measure to reach that goal," Oszkó told InfoRádió.
The government wants to hand over the baton to the next cabinet so that the successor’s hands would not be tied and it would be able to adjust the budget path to the institutional reforms it would have in store, he added.
Oszkó reminded that the government has decided to use as little from budget reserves as possible so as to leave manoeuvring room for the next government in case of risks. The cabinet has used only the time-proportionate share of the reserves, while it has frozen stability reserves and reserves for interest rate risks, he added.
