Hungary sells another HUF 16.6 bn bonds in non-competitive tenders

Portfolio
Responding to the intensive demand for Hungarian government bonds in the morning auctions, the ÁKK has held non-competitive tenders in the afternoon, where it allotted HUF 16.6 bn worth of debt.
It placed a HUF 9.4 bn and HUF 5.4 bn lot on offer from the 3-yr and 5-yr bonds, respectively, which were both scooped up. Data at the morning auctions indicated that the instruments were taken by one or two investors whose appetite has apparently not been quenched.

The HUF 3.5 bn lot in the 10-yr segment attracted HUF 1.9 bn in bids which was fulfilled by ÁKK in full.

In today’s tenders (the regular and the non-competitive) the ÁKK sold HUF 66.6 bn worth of 3-year, 5-yr and 10-yr benchmark bonds.
