Hungary forint weakens to 15-year low versus USD

The forint is currently quoted at 294.35 to the USD, the weakest level for the HUF in the past 15 years. Meanwhile, EURUSD dropped to 1.0601, which means the strengthening of the greenback has brought on the new HUF low.

USD weakens - 10:14Whereas the US dollar appreciated versus the euro on Wednesday morning, tables have turned by now and EURUSD dropped to 1.0647, as the USD eased 0.2% in a matter of minutes.

The forint is currently quoted at 312.25 to the euro and it firmed to 293.40 against the USD on the interbank market.
