Hungary may lower VAT on Internet services further to 5% in 2018
VAT on Internet services has never been so low as it will be from 2017, as the cabinet is set to cut the rate of the tax to 18% from 27% currently, Deutsch told public television M1 in the morning.
The commissioner noted that VAT on Internet services could be further reduced even to 5% as of 2018, as economic indicators are good enough. This could give digital development an even greater momentum, he added.
