Hungary sells HUF 30bn in 12m T-bills amidst moderate demand

Portfolio
Hungary's State Debt Management Agency (ÁKK) has sold HUF 30 billion in 12-month zero-coupon treasury bills on Thursday, along with a HUF 6 billion tranche of floating rate notes.
At HUF 38.9 billion, the total amount of bids only slightly exceeded the HUF 30 billion tranche on offer at Thursday's 12-month zero-coupon treasury bill auction in Hungary. The issuer left the offered amount unchanged. Yields averaged 0%, only 1 bp above the previous auction yield two weeks ago.

In addition to the 12-month issue, ÁKK has successfully placed a tranche of 5-year floating rate notes. Demand was significantly more brisk, with bids totaling HUF 17.1 billion for a HUF 6 billion package and no change to the amount on offer.
